At Whole Mind & Body Counselling, we use evidence-based therapies that blend modern psychology with mind–body awareness.
Our main framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — one of the most well-researched modern therapies, supported by hundreds of randomized controlled trials and thousands of scientific studies across diverse mental-health and wellbeing areas.
ACT helps you build a healthier relationship with your thoughts and feelings, so they no longer control your life. It teaches practical skills to notice unhelpful mental patterns, make space for difficult emotions, and take actions that align with your values.
The goal isn’t to feel good all the time — it’s to live well, even when life is hard.
Instead of spending all your mental energy trying to eliminate thoughts or feelings, ACT helps you respond differently to them when they show up — with awareness, flexibility, and self-compassion.
This way, you can give more of your mind, body, and strength to the people and activities that matter most to you.
My mission is to make these practical, life-changing tools affordable and accessible worldwide — helping people reduce suffering and live with greater clarity, purpose, and peace of mind.
When ACT is combined with education about the nervous system, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and simple regulation practices, something powerful happens: you don’t just improve your mental wellbeing — your physical health can begin to shift too.
As the proverb says, “A calm heart gives life to the body.”
Research into the nervous system shows how the vagus nerve and autonomic nervous system influence both mental and physical health.
By understanding how your nervous system developed into how it is today, you can learn to see it as your friend rather than your enemy — a system doing its best to protect you.
Through Pain Reprocessing Therapy and Polyvagal-based neuroscience, we help your brain and body relearn safety, calm stress responses, and promote both physical and emotional wellbeing.
You may believe you’ve done everything possible to reduce your mental load — and yet your body is still stressed.
Maybe you don’t even feel stressed, but you experience pain from old injuries, lingering fatigue, or inflammation that flares up when life gets hectic — or even when it doesn’t.
You’ve adjusted your diet, taken supplements, seen specialists, maybe even had surgery… and still, your body can’t seem to find steady balance.
Believe me — you’re not lazy, and you’re not doing it wrong. You’ve been doing your best to follow every protocol.
And to be clear — it’s not all in your head.
What you feel in your body is real. 100% real — and yes, 1000% frustrating.
But your brain and nervous system play a vital role in how your body responds, heals, and protects you.
If you give me a chance to fill in some missing pieces, you’ll begin to understand how to support and strengthen all the hard work you’re already doing.
Whether your journey is primarily mental, physical, or both, these integrated approaches —
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, nervous-system regulation, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy — can help you manage symptoms more effectively and move towards a smoother recovery or management.
Every body has thoughts and feelings. Some also carry diagnoses.
Whether you’ve been diagnosed with a mental or physical illness, or you’re dealing with unexplained symptoms, we can work together to restore balance, clarity, and confidence.
Even when an illness or condition is genetic or already “switched on,” your body still responds to safety. By spending more time in a calm, “rest and digest” state, your body can reduce inflammation, ease flare-ups, and recover more effectively.
Together, these evidence-based approaches create a flexible, compassionate, and neuroscience-informed path that helps you reconnect with your values, calm your system, and feel grounded in both mind and body.
Because when we learn to live in harmony with our mind and body — instead of fighting them —we send powerful signals of safety, compassion, and calm.
And when we’re no longer consumed by our painful thoughts, feelings, or symptoms, we can give more of our mind, body, and strength to the people and activities that truly matter to us.
That’s when healing becomes living — and living becomes meaningful again.
